For nearly four decades, Rina has worked as a performer, bringing experience as both a singer and actor to the stage. This background, combined with a career dedicated to communication, advocacy, education, and physical and emotional awareness, informs her approach to creating authentic, compelling, and emotionally grounded work.

An Intimacy Coordinator and Intimacy Director trained through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators and Theatrical Intimacy Education, Rina is also a sex and intimacy coach, educator, and facilitator with extensive experience supporting individuals and professionals through emotionally and physically vulnerable conversations and experiences.

As both a performer and educator, she understands the importance of balancing artistic vision with performer well-being. She is passionate about helping productions create psychologically safe, collaborative spaces where actors can do their best work while maintaining clear boundaries, agency, and respect.

Her approach is consent-forward, performer-centered, and grounded in professionalism, with a commitment to supporting authentic storytelling, meaningful creative collaboration, and the highest standards of care on set and on stage.

Rina helps productions avoid common medical and emotional inaccuracies, portray labor in a trauma-informed was, and create scenes that feel authentic to parents while still serving story and pacing.

In addition to attending more than 500 births, throughout her career, she has trained and mentored thousands of professionals, including obstetricians, midwives, family medicine physicians, and birth workers, across the United States and internationally. Her work has focused on fostering trust, effective communication, informed consent, and evidence-based practices in high-stakes environments.

Rina helps productions portray pregnancy, labor, and postpartum authentically so audiences trust the story and parents feel seen. She carries empathy, science, relationship intelligence, and lived experience.
